My Win 7 computer is on a wired network and I was able to browse the net for a few mnts after the upgrade but started getting DNS Server issues. There doesn't seem to be any issue with the DNS server since other computers on the same network are able to access the internet.

A computer directly attached to DIR is able to access the internet. My windows 7 PC is attached to DI switch using the router as a switch. Nothing changed in network and it worked just fine with Vista.

I reinstalled Windows 7 and still intermittent internet connection issue remains. I called Gateway and they advised me to restore system to factory setting which is Win Vista. I asked them for the Win 7 network driver and they don't have any support for it although they did provide upgrade DVD for it.

To me it seems like a network driver issue and Gateway didn't provide me any driver except the one that is shipped within Win 7.
