Welker was in Louisville with Brady. The Patriots went on to win the Super Bowl that season. Edgerrin James 11 TDs. Manning's greatest complement, James caught 11 touchdowns, but nine of them came in the duo's first two seasons together and James did not have any touchdown receptions in his four seasons after leaving the Colts in He missed Manning's two Indianapolis Super Bowl trips.
James rushed for 64 touchdowns during his Colts tenure. Anderson three and Knowshon Moreno three are out of the double-digit threshold. For reference, here is the complete list of players who caught a touchdown from Manning:. By: Jeff Eisenband -. Reggie Wayne 67 TDs Wayne apprenticed under Harrison for the first half of his Colts career before taking the reins of the wide receiving corps.
Eric Decker 24 TDs Decker and Manning only played two seasons together, but they made the most of it. Wes Welker 12 TDs Although his reputation will always be as a Brady asset, Welker actually had his most successful season in the end zone with Manning.
Edgerrin James 11 TDs Manning's greatest complement, James caught 11 touchdowns, but nine of them came in the duo's first two seasons together and More than anyone in NFL history. Marlon Brown looks like the real deal. It is week 1. Calling out all Ravens fans based on a message board is low class. Broncos can gloat, Ravens and us fans deserve it, you have no basis to gloat. Manning was as great as he ever was.
Thomas was outstanding. But Welker dropping a punt for a TO at his own 5? Resulting in a Ravens TD. Trevathan tossing the ball at his own 1 after an int? Resulting in a Ravens TD 14 pt swing. Then Fox going into his run, run, run mode despite having the hottest QB on the planet and no running game? The kind of mode that cost the Broncos big time last January?
It kind of looked like Manning and the nincompoops Thomas excepted out there. Nobody is DeSean but DeSean. And to suggest this guys better adding the 2. If this guy can accomplish half of what DeSean has making the pro bowl at two positions, YPC record, etc then get back to me. Is their running game really that bad that they abandon it even once the game is under control? Seems like Peyton calls all the shots.. Astonishing statistical game however. Yes I do. As soon as Flacco lost his security blanket and you lost your defensive leaders on an already suspect defense.
NO yapping excuses about injuries either. Ravens fans are infamous for being gleeful about other teams playing them short-handed. Did Flaccos contract cause that Manning blow out in Baltimore last year?
This is what Manning does. He is a regular seaon beast. Great in the regular season, mediocre in the playoffs. The polar opposite of Joe,. I was one who had doubts about Manning because of age and eroding skills. I guess I was wrong, Denver certainly looks like Superbowl contenders!
Their running game is crap!! Hate and jealousy caused many to say Peyton Manning was all washed up. How bout now? Gee, no sign of Joemontanaflacco dude, who up til now was averaging about 5 posts for every topic. Wonder where he is? Well Ravens fans, you wanted the Flacco era, you got it. Haha the ratbirds are using the harbaugh non call as an excuse…….
What a bunch of whiners. Anyone who started Manning last night in fantasy football has already won this week. Surveying the scene, he deemed that Tim Tebow the current QB was nothing like the image he wanted running His team. He reminds me most of myself and my expectations. And the rest is history to be further written. This came down to dropped passes on offense, poor secondary, and a Jedi master at QB on the other side. Flacco was not to blame.
MVP with this offense this year could be the year he breaks every single season record in the books and be crown best offensive team ever. Peyton has talent like none I have ever seen before. He is an amazing talent with an amazing gift and pushes himself and those around him to be their best. Funny story… one of them is going straight to the HOF, and the other… is well… not.
An honest breakdown of the game showed a Ravens team in the first full game of the season getting gassed in the mile high thin air. After having Jacoby knocked out on that freak play they were left with three wide recievers, one of them 36 years old, and a need to run a hurry up offense. They abandoned the running game early, even though it was effective, and that hurt their ability to come back when Oher hyperextended that knee.
With the offense struggling to convert first downs, that defense started spending longer and longer on the field. With the DBs worn out, the linemen dragging, and the linebackers doing everything they could to slow down Julius Thomas, there were just too many weapons on the outside to contain. Once the team started getting frustrated and got undisciplined with the penalties, that game was over.
Positives for Baltimore are they shut down the run completely, the running game clicked nicely until they gave up on it, and if the offense is moving the ball, a rested defense should be able to maintain a good pass rush.
Denver looks pretty scary at this point. Rodgers-Cromartie seems to have taken the coaching up to heart. He kept Smith more or less out of the game completely. Julius Thomas looked like the second coming of Tony Gonzales. Demaryius Thomas is amazing. Bubble screen taken to the house? Negatives for Denver? Eric Decker looked like he forgot how to play football.
Those drops were inexcuseable. Dropping the ball before you get to the endzone? Get your head in the game, fella. What have they accomplished? Flacco makes the playoffs every year, yet no one complains about these other contracts, accept, McNabb, lol. Buffalo defeated the Patriots 31—0 during the first game of the season. How did that work out for the Pats? He pulled off the biggest ripoff in history! Never seen salary so out of proportion. Alright Broncos fans time to stop beating your chest..
I am not a Ravens fan at all, but I seem to remember last year the Broncos beat the Ravens during the regular season last year, only to get a typical Manning playoff performance. Also you are the same bunch of clowns who ran around 2 years ago thinking Teebow was the second coming.
How are all those 15 jerseys looking right about now? But go ahead and get all hurt over nothing. Which seems to be in abundance in your neck of the woods.

With all the challenges the Lakers are facing, the continuation of Russell Westbrook's cold-shooting slump didn't help in a loss to the Kings. Maybe Joe Judge really did want to get fired. A day after the Giants gave the second-year coach his pink slip, Judge had a bunch of pizza and beer sent to his house, via TMZ.
Players don't like playing in freezing temperatures and Saturday's game will be one of the coldest in Bills history. How did a Delaware man get a job offer from Tom Brady? Here's everything you need to know. Bill Belichick made quite the fashion statement at his press conference Wednesday, and former Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman couldn't resist chiming in.
